Eupatoria Central Beach
This is the oldest beach in Yevpatoriya, so it’s even hard to imagine how many generations of Russian people have learned to swim here! Everyone knows that small children go to Yevpatoria on vacation so that they can swim at a safe depth in water of a comfortable temperature, which quickly warms up in shallow water. The Central Beach can be safely considered as a classic beach among the Yevpatoriyan beaches, which everyone is obliged to visit to have a complete picture of the western coast of Crimea.

Beach description
This is the oldest, most popular and, as a result, the most crowded beach of Yevpatoriya. It extends along Gorky waterfront promenade and covers the territory from Frunze Park to Duvanovskaya Street near the port. Its length is 2 km, but more than half is reserved for sanatoriums, so about 800 m remain for free access by spa residents. Algae is often nailed to the shore; however, the staff monitors it and quickly removes them to avoid unpleasant odors and water contamination.
You can get to the beach in the following ways:
- by tram - to the stops "Park Frunze" (No. 2) or "Ul. Lenin " (No. 3)
- by minibus - to the stops “Park Frunze” (No. 9) or “Avangard Stadium” (No. 2, 4, 10)
This is a sandy land area, in which small stones nevertheless come under water. It is rather narrow (only 20–40 m wide), but this does not bother anyone. Moreover, it has a gentle slope into the sea, which is safer for bathing young children. Also, waves are extremely rare here, because the sea is mostly smooth and flat, without sharp flows and temperature changes.
When is the best time to go?
Weather conditions in Crimea depend on the place where you will rest: while on the south coast it is relatively warm and humid, then in other places it can be cooler and drier. The period between late May and the first half of July inclusive is considered the ideal time for a trip when the air and sea have already warmed up (23-25 degrees), but the real heat has not yet come. If you prefer warmer weather, pick out the second half of July or early August.

This is the most crowded beach located right along the waterfront promenade, so life here is in full swing day and night.
On the beach there are any amenities and entertainment you could wish:
- sunbeds and parasols;
- changing rooms, showers and toilets;
- cafes, bars and restaurants;
- playgrounds for children;
- sports areas with exercise equipment.
Regarding water entertainments, here you will find a classic entertainments for the Black Sea beaches - bananas, trampolines, jet skis, parachutes, etc. There will be no problems with accommodation for the night, because the beach is literally dotted with boarding houses, hotels and guest houses.

- Nearby is a water park and many different memorable places, so you can go straight from the beach for vivid emotions and cultural enrichment.
- Pay attention to the statue of Hercules, located on the steps at the entrance to the beach from the street. According to one of many versions, this is a copy of the ancient Greek limestone statue, which was found here during archaeological excavations. It was established in honor of the 2500th anniversary of the foundation of the city and immediately became one of the most iconic and visited city attractions.
- Near the beach - right on the waterfront promenade - are located souvenir shops offering all kinds of goods for every taste. And here you will be offered your portrait drawn by the master or to take photos in colorful costumes against the background of scenery.
