Belyaus beach

Belyaus is called Crimean Maldives thanks to the snow-white sand from shell crumbs and the azure warm sea of fantastic beauty. Ten kilometer foreland separates Donuzlav lake from Black Sea, and at its beginning there is a magnificent wild beach that attracts tourists with its beauty and solitude. There are no toilets, showers and canopies, the nearest shops and cafes are located in Znamenskoye village, which is three kilometers from the coast. You can also rent a room at local residents' and purchase fresh homemade products.

Beach description

Anyway, most tourists prefer stay in tents right on the shore, it is free, and car parking as well. Those who likes comfortable vacation can stay at the "Viking" Hotel with a private equipped beach, an outdoor pool and organized catering.

Going to Belyaus you need to take into account that it is very windy on the foreland, and the area near the lake is full of mosquitos. You need to take care of vacation onyour own - there are no water attractions, inflatable towns for children and sports equipment rental on the beach. Main attractions are fishing, spearfishing, snorkeling and diving. On the beach you can also play volleyball, launch a kite into the sky, ride a horse and explore the ruins of an ancient Greco-Scythian settlement. In the evenings dolphins are swimming near the shore, driving fish in the rays of the setting sun, and the sunsets here are just fantastic - the best in western Crimea!

When is it better to go?

Weather conditions in Crimea depend on the place where you will rest: while on the south coast it is relatively warm and humid, then in other places it can be cooler and drier. The period between late May and the first half of July inclusive is considered the ideal time for a trip when the air and sea have already warmed up (23-25 degrees), but the real heat has not yet come. If you prefer warmer weather, pick out the second half of July or early August.
