Massandrovsky Beach
One of the best beaches in Yalta, awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness and high level of service. In 2016, a general reconstruction was carried out, during which the coastline was updated, the necessary beach infrastructure was added, and the surrounding area was ennobled by modern restaurants, food zones, sports and playgrounds.

The coastline of Massandrovsky Beach is quite long (500 meters), but narrow, covered with even pebbles of medium size. Breakwaters protruding into the sea conditionally divide it into six parts, each of which has its own infrastructure and concept. Three of them are considered superior areas - Grand M Beach, Havana Beach and bungalows for lovers of secluded relaxation. It has comfortable sunbathing terraces (there is even a small freshwater pool), beach bars work, and in the evenings there are show programs and discos.
Access to the VIP zones is absolutely free, as well as to other sectors Massandrovsky beach. The only difference is that you can only be there by renting a deck chair, a bungalow or making an order at a bar / restaurant. There are no such restrictions on the rest of the territory - if you have free space, you are allowed to sit on your own towels, but you still have to fork out for using toilets and showers.
The indisputable advantage of Massandrovsky beach is its convenient location - you can get to it from the center on foot in just ten minutes. Near the beach there is a public transport stop "Sovetskaya Square".
When is the best time to go?
Weather conditions in Crimea depend on the place where you will rest: while on the south coast it is relatively warm and humid, then in other places it can be cooler and drier. The period between late May and the first half of July inclusive is considered the ideal time for a trip when the air and sea have already warmed up (23-25 degrees), but the real heat has not yet come. If you prefer warmer weather, pick out the second half of July or early August.

Infrastructure
All beaches have a rescue service and video surveillance. There are inflatable towns with slides and trampolines for children, adults can have fun on water rides, play volleyball or table tennis.
You can have a bite to eat in numerous cafes and food zones, and thoroughly eat in restaurants "Van Gogh" and "Shell Mead." At the end of the beach there is a budget home-style dining room, and local donuts and hamburgers, which are sold in a tent opposite the first descent to the sea, are also in great demand.

Nearby the Massandrovsky beach is perhaps the most romantic and exquisite architectural monument of Crimea - the palace of Emperor Alexander III. It resembles a fairy-tale castle from children's tales, surrounded by a magnificent park with statues of chimeras and fauns, and not visiting it would be an impermissible mistake. For inspection it is better to choose an early time (the palace starts working from 9 am) so as not to spoil the impression due to crowds of tourists. On the way back, you should look at the Massandrovsky winery, which is nearby, visit a tasting of the famous Crimean wines and purchase your favorite options in the company store.
