Horabadhoo Island is a secluded place for a quiet vacation of millionaires. It has a small area - only 200 by 800 meters. Along the perimeter of the island is surrounded by narrow sandy beaches and a quiet lagoon. There are practically no waves thanks to artificial protective fences. They also serve as buoys, behind of which it is better not to swim.
The resort is located just 20 minutes by plane from Male International Airport. According to Maldivian standards, it’s very close, literally on a neighboring atoll. Territory of the island belongs to only one hotel – Royal Island Resort . Its villas are evenly located over the entire area so that each family has its own stretch of beach, and so that vacationers can enjoy absolute privacy.
White beaches on Horabadhoo are very well maintained and clean with soft fine sand. The beach is suitable for swimming and sunbathing. Entry to the sea is flat and sloping, without rocks and sharp coral. Local landscapes look beautiful not only in the photo, but also in reality.
When is the best time to go?
Maldives – is an equatorial country with a tropical climate, where the weather is always warm at + 27-30ºС. But the islands have some seasonal features. From mid-April to the end of October it often rains here. The dry season lasts from November till April. At this time, the initially clear sea becomes completely transparent, and the sun illuminates in the sky 12 hours a day.
Important: A large amount of plankton is collected in October and November off the coast, which is why the ocean takes on a slightly unclear hue. On the other side – plankton illuminates the sea at night, creating an indescribable picture. At this time, coastal waters are filled with stingrays – fabulously fascinating creatures that are in no way inferior to the dolphins.

- Hotel can get tourists to the vacation place. Transfer costs one way $ 112 per adult and is included in the final bill. Children under 12 years old are entitled to a discount, and for children under 2 years old a ticket is not needed at all.
- If you want to get to hotel on the day of arrival, plane must board at Male Airport before 15:00 local time. Take it into your account when you book tickets. Otherwise, you will need to spend the night in one of the capital's hotels or on the island of Hulhumale. And one more moment! The resort office does not organize return transfers to the airport before 8:30. Therefore, once again, if the flight is early, you will have to leave Royal Resort a day earlier and spend the night in the capital.
- The hotel also serves its guests according to the all-inclusive system. However, if you doubt whether you need a buffet for the whole vacation, it is better to book the cheapest accommodation option. On the arrival, you can change everything and pay extra, but if you immediately pay all inclusive, nobody will return the money back, even if you change your mind.
