Mirihi Island is a small island in the Indian Ocean untouched by civilization. Its dimensions are only 300x50 m. It is surrounded by one of the most picturesque reefs among the Maldives. The size of the island is very modest, on its territory fits only 37 villas, most of which are located on the water. Everywhere you can walk barefoot, sand is a fine white powder, the purity of which is carefully monitored. Newly made couples, lovers of a secluded luxury vacation rush to Mirihi for the sake of magnificent nature, silence, upscale amenities that contribute to absolute relaxation.

In the diving center you can take the necessary equipment for diving. Experienced patient instructors work with beginners. You can leave the island as an already experienced diver with the appropriate certificate.
The resort has a small gym, there is a pavilion where practicing yoga, a cozy spa. A short trip among palm trees and flowers will lead to the football field. From the deck chair on your villa’s outdoor terrace you can watch ocean views and dolphins catching fish.
The only concern of diving enthusiasts is to choose the right time for diving, focusing on the tides. Access to the ocean is possible directly from the personal deck. Accommodation in villas is available only to families with children over 8 years. Babysitting services are provided, but there is no organization of children's events.
On a clear night, you can view the local constellations using a powerful telescope that is possible to use on the beach.
When is the best time to go?
Maldives – is an equatorial country with a tropical climate, where the weather is always warm at + 27-30ºС. But the islands have some seasonal features. From mid-April to the end of October it often rains here. The dry season lasts from November till April. At this time, the initially clear sea becomes completely transparent, and the sun illuminates in the sky 12 hours a day.
Important: A large amount of plankton is collected in October and November off the coast, which is why the ocean takes on a slightly unclear hue. On the other side – plankton illuminates the sea at night, creating an indescribable picture. At this time, coastal waters are filled with stingrays – fabulously fascinating creatures that are in no way inferior to the dolphins.

The relaxing atmosphere is maintained by the attentive staff of Mirihi Island Resort, 4,5*, which does not allow tourists to forget that they are in paradise. In 2014, the design of the villas was completely updated. Guests step on sandy and wooden polished floors, use private decks and stairs to go down into the ocean.
Furniture, decoration, accessories, cleanliness of rooms is beyond praise. The hotel staff strives to do everything possible to make the vacation for travelers unforgettable. The rooms are not equipped with TVs, the Internet is not the fastest, but this circumstance just contributes to greater privacy and relaxation.
Service is available 24 hours per day. You can use the additional safe, in addition to what is in the room. There is a laundry service, Wi-Fi, the boutique is open during a day and night. Tourists have everything what they need for scuba diving or fishing, take books in the library. In addition to the planned events, hotel guests choose excursions, which are interesting to them. Everyone needs a visit to the spa with an hour of massage. The fitness center should also not be ignored, because after visiting the local restaurants you will definitely need a “counterweight”.
A large buffet is served daily in the main dining room. A varied menu is offered by two restaurants. The cozy lounge bar has the largest collection of rums (136 different types), also guests can try their own, home-made. In the wine room, there are about 300 kinds of fine wines, champagne.
At a dinner, the chef personally greets each guest and presents all the dishes that are in the program. Local fish is incredibly tasty, fresh Australian lamb and beef, desserts have an amazing taste. - You can get to Miriha by seaplane. The trip takes about 30 minutes.
