Vihamanaafushi Island is located in the Small Atolls, in close proximity to the international airport. The drive to here will last only 10 minutes. On foot, you can get around it all in about half an hour. Vihamanafushi has earned the love of tourists with its amazing flora and fauna, unusual zoning and architecture.

Beach description
The main reason for going to the island is a beach vacation. The private island resort is called Kurumba, it is associated with coconut palms that grow here in abundance. In 1972, founding friends laid the foundation for a whole industry in lush tropical gardens and dazzling white sandy beaches.
For several decades, Kurumba has become a favorite resort thanks to its crystal clear water, protected by a house reef lagoon, exceptional service and a large selection of experiences.
Kurumba has been launched as a typical tropical village. But ordinary home comfort has undergone a complete transformation a couple of decades ago. As a result, vacationers are greeted by a world-famous resort and with all the attributes corresponding to it.
Newlyweds and senior couples, small groups and families with children come to the island. The coast is divided into two parts, in one of which VIPs settle: the president of the country with a retinue, for example, or the prime minister of a neighboring state, a famous actress. Guests settle in duplex villas with private beach or bungalows and confidential rooms.
There are no special parties and noisy discos, no one is imposing his society, rest for those who love silence and merging with nature.
The beach is very comfortable, no stones, no coral, soft sand, valued by families with children. The nearest corals are located in approximately 20 meters away, fish of different colors scurry around. Sometimes dolphins appear nearby. In the evenings, the ocean glows because of plankton, this is a captivating spectacle. The water level does not change much. The area close to the beach and pool is maintained in perfect cleanliness.
Along the beach under palm trees are loungers, bag-chairs, comfortable mattresses with pillows. There are tables also, sitting at which tourists dine and at the same time watch beautiful views.
When is the best time to go?
Maldives – is an equatorial country with a tropical climate, where the weather is always warm at + 27-30ºС. But the islands have some seasonal features. From mid-April to the end of October it often rains here. The dry season lasts from November till April. At this time, the initially clear sea becomes completely transparent, and the sun illuminates in the sky 12 hours a day.
Important: A large amount of plankton is collected in October and November off the coast, which is why the ocean takes on a slightly unclear hue. On the other side – plankton illuminates the sea at night, creating an indescribable picture. At this time, coastal waters are filled with stingrays – fabulously fascinating creatures that are in no way inferior to the dolphins.

Infrastructure
At first, the resort could offer only 30 rooms, the walls and roof of which were built from local improvised materials: coral stone and palm straw. Now guests are located in 180 rooms, which are updated annually.
Kurumba Maldives, 5*, immersed in greenery and flowers, this is a reason why it resembles a botanical garden. It offers accommodation in spacious comfortable rooms with daily cleaning. The employees are very helpful, attentive to every little thing, there is a Russian-speaking staff.
The bathroom is almost under the stars, equipped with shampoos and gels of its own brand, a clean pool with depth options. Adults visit the spa, billiards room, gym and yoga. Other entertainment include karaoke bar, chic night fishing. Nearby are places where are 6-meter manti, a lot of turtles and tuna. Diving near the beach of Vihamanafushi distinguishes by almost endless visibility.
Children are engaged with a nanny, there is a children's pool. For travelers from 3 to 13 years old there is a club. When going to a restaurant, children eat on the children's menu, sit on special chairs.
On the island are located many restaurants where you can taste more than exquisite dishes, including a variety of "buffet". 10 variants are available for cooking eggs, it is not possible just to tell the rest. Evenings in themed establishments, guests are fed with brand dishes, always fresh seafood, unimaginable desserts.
There is a shop on site. At sunset is a party on the beach, folk dances, coconut juice, kurumbakolada. There is a good tradition of welcoming new arrivals on Sunday evenings. Pleasant free little things are played out in the lottery: visit to the spa, a bottle of champagne.
