Kandolhu Island is a very small island (approximately only 200x150 m), covered by greenery and washed by emerald-green surf of the Indian Ocean. Among other colorful Maldive islands, it is distinguished by its ideal forms and the presence of a home "living" reef with a wide variety of plant and animal inhabitants.

The funny cartoon about the Lion Cub and the Turtle, it turns out, is not fiction at all. Such turtles are indeed found in that part of the archipelago where Kandolhu is located. The private island has only 30 villas, where you can relax exclusively in isolation and comfortably.
The sand is light and soft as flour. The beach near the villas is cleaned every day 2-3 times. The island is generally very clean.
Noisy parties are not accepted here, children do not play pranks, though, they are present. All guests of the resort have individual access to the beach from villas located on the sand, or access directly to the ocean from overwater villas. The island is the best choice for those who want to spend time enjoying a narrow society, in an atmosphere of serene relaxation.
There are special programs for newlyweds, including wedding ceremonies, which are held in the lagoon or directly on the beach.
An ocean reef that can be reached in 3-5 minutes is great for snorkelling. An entertaining underwater world awaits travelers not only there. Literally a few meters from the beach schools of colorful fish frolic, good-natured turtles swim sedately, also are sharks and stingrays.
Upon arrival, all tourists receive a special GoPro camera, film and photo materials from which are subsequently taken away with them on a USB flash drive. The diving center is equipped with advanced equipment and instructors. Those who pass the course will receive a certificate.
When is the best time to go?
Maldives – is an equatorial country with a tropical climate, where the weather is always warm at + 27-30ºС. But the islands have some seasonal features. From mid-April to the end of October it often rains here. The dry season lasts from November till April. At this time, the initially clear sea becomes completely transparent, and the sun illuminates in the sky 12 hours a day.
Important: A large amount of plankton is collected in October and November off the coast, which is why the ocean takes on a slightly unclear hue. On the other side – plankton illuminates the sea at night, creating an indescribable picture. At this time, coastal waters are filled with stingrays – fabulously fascinating creatures that are in no way inferior to the dolphins.

As for food, the cuisine on the island is rather gastronomic than all inclusive. In four restaurants of the island cook using the freshest products, there are no questions about any semi-finished or frozen products. Creative and modern style dominates here. Tourists order Mediterranean, Japanese cuisine, seafood, grilled meat, vegetarian food is widely represented. In a Japanese restaurant, visitors are expected not only a delicious dinner, but also a presentation from the chef.

- North Ari atoll is 70 km away from Male. Guests arrive from the airport not to the beach of Kandolhu, but to a special platform in the ocean. From there is 10 min boat ride. No one is woken up in the morning by the sound of a seaplane motor.
- Of the unpleasant nuances is a large number of biting insects. They are diminishing insects' numbers every week, but a certain amount, nevertheless, manages to annoy travelers. Need to be fully armed.
