Agios Spiridonos beach
In high season, the resort is visited by quite a lot of holidaymakers, but in general, it is a quiet remote beach, located far from civilization with poorly developed infrastructure.

If you don't like loud club beats and the company of sweaty visitors who want to lay right next to you, then Agios Spiridon is the place for you. You'll be able to enjoy the slow passing of time and the calm breeze on the azure shore of Ionian Sea.
The beach is located in a solitary bay in the northwest of Corfu. Buses come here, but if you want to get here quickly without depending on the bus schedule, call a taxi or rent a car.
This beach has a golden sandy surface and a smooth descent into water. And one more thing: the water here isn't as hot as on other beaches of Corfu. Its coolness is always welcome during the especially sunny days. The beach is marked with the "Blue Flag", equipped with all sorts of water attractions for visitors of all ages. This is a perfect place for families with children.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
