Sidari beach
Well, it is not a trip to resort Greece, if you have not been to Sidari beach! The beach has great views and developed infrastructure. It is located in the north of Corfu, 40 kilometers from Kerkyra. You can get here by taxi or by rented car as to most Greek beaches. Vehicles can be parked for free at the entry to the beach.

Tourists with children will feel safe here. Sidari is a sandy beach surrounded by palms. But you probably won't be able to hide from the heat in their shadows, so better take a sunbed with an umbrella. To get to the deep waters, you'll need to walk 200-250 meters away from the shore.
As the beach is located in the north of the island, high winds and waves are frequent here. Please take note of that, especially if you want to ride a boat. The main feature of this beach are small bays separated by sandy capes. The "Lovers' Channel", that all couples and even other tourists who visit Sidari should visit, flows inside one of these capes.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
