Agni beach

Many visitors come here by a rented boat or a yacht rather than by car. A road through the Kavalerina village was built recently, so getting here quickly by car isn't difficult at all.

Agni is a heaven for divers and underwater swimmers. The crystal clear turquoise water, with boulders emerging from waves, clean big pebbles and a steep descent into the water are the perfect conditions for diving. The beach is remote which means not a lot of tourists come here. Only the most persistent reach this place. Despite all that, sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as taverns with traditional Corfu cuisine, are available here. The beach also has a wooden pier for boats. Sharp edges of white yachts add to the beach's elitism and pathos.

If you want to come to this solitary place, the local apartments will have a few rooms available to rent for a night.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
