If you're not fond of walking and multiple transfers, you can use a rentcar service at the airport.

As the beach is located in a bay, the water becomes warm as early as May. Crystal clear azure waters combined with smooth descent make for a good place to bring your children to. The pebbly beach is cleaned every morning. It's well-equipped with umbrellas and deck chairs, as well as showers, toilets and changing rooms.

Sailing enthusiasts love this place, as waves emerge in the evening, creating perfect conditions for yachting. You can see sea urchins, crabs, starfish and other underwater fauna near the shore, so don't forget your diving equipment. If you get tired of sunbathing, snorkeling is a good alternative. Taverns and bars are located at the beach where you can lift your mood with tasty food and beverages.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
