Liapades beach
The beach is located on the west coast and impresses with its beauty: views of the mountains, the unreal color of the water, the shades of which are constantly changing after a few meters, curved bays and ... cool water.

Liapades is a place far from civilization, comfortable and green. Buses circulate from here to Kerkyra and vice-versa only twice a day. So it's better to rent a car or call a taxi if you want to explore the surroundings. A village of the same name, with many authentic old buildings and roads, as well as a 17th century temple, is located 2 km away from the beach.
You can rent a canoe on the beach. The sea is quite calm, so you won't need an instructor to manage your boat. The waters are deep near the shore, so it might not be the best place for children to swim. But it's good for adults, as many other beaches on Corfu have shallow waters near the shore, and it's hard to find actual depth. The big pebbles that cover the beach are a good source of free massage that can heal flatfoot and other disorders.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
