Nissaki beach

This is a beach that amazes with the purity of its azure waters and the beauty of cozy chamber bays that create secluded romantic places for couples in love. It seems that nature plays along with them, revealing incredible views of the sea sunsets in the evening. It is considered a fairly popular beach, but it is rarely crowded, and this is its undoubted plus.

Beach description

Nissaki is located in the northeast of Corfu, between Barbati and Kassiopi resorts, 22 km away from Kerkyra. You can take a bus from the airport to get to Kerkyra, and then transfer to an A5 bus - Barbati-Nissaki - to get here. Other, more expensive alternatives, are a taxi and a rented car.

White pebbly beaches of Nissaki are known for their shallow waters which is why families with children often come here. Other positive points for tourists who bring their families on vacation are a smooth descent into water and no waves thanks to the nearby bay. Divers and snorkelers also like this beach. Overall it's a popular place that rarely has big crowds, which is a big positive as well.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
