Praia de Vialmoura - is a wide and long beach of a modern resort, comfortable and convenient for everyone. Both small and adult tourists are having a great time here. The entry into the water is smooth, the bottom is sandy, there are no strong waves (thanks to the harbor breakwater).
The large area of Vilamoura and excellent conditions for swimming are not its only advantages. On this beach everyone can rest as they like. There will be a place both for lovers to sleep in the sun and for those who prefer to spend time at the ocean actively.
There are not only all the necessary amenities on the beach (sunbeds and umbrellas, showers and bathrooms), here you can also rent equipment for water entertainment and sports. There are several restaurants and bars in Vilamoura.
The rest on Praia de Vialmoura is easy to combine with visiting the sights of the region (in this part of the Algarve there is an archaeological park, a water park, a casino and other interesting city objects). Nearby are city hotels.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Portugal lasts from the beginning of June until September, when the air temperature reaches +30°C and the water temperature - +19°C. It should be remembered that the Atlantic Ocean does not warm up well and cools quickly, lovers of a more comfortable temperature can swim in natural stone pools, which are quite numerous on the coast.
