Bayside Beach Saka
Bayside Beach Saka is a calm, spacious sandy beach 1.2 km long, located in Mizushiri, near Hiroshima. The opportunity to swim and sunbathe, as well as go fishing or strolling along the coast, enjoying beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding landscape, taking spectacular pictures of sunset or sunrise, all this attracts many tourists in the summer at Bayside Beach Saka.

At other times, Saka remains a calm and secluded place. You can get to the beach from Hiroshima by train or car. The Japanese coast of Saka Beach, covered with clean white sand, is characterized with the smooth slope and a soft surf with weak waves. An interesting feature of this beach is that the swimming season here lasts only 2 months, from July to August.
When is the best time to go?
If in the north of Japan, in Hokkaido, the weather in January-February is quite wintery, in the southern islands the temperature rarely drops below 20 degrees even in the cold season. In summer, the rainy season comes in Japan, when the humidity becomes almost one hundred percent, and the thermometer is at 30 to 40 degrees. Therefore, the best time to travel to Japan – is late spring or early autumn.
