Kira Waikiki beach
Kira Waikiki Beach is a cozy beach that gives its visitors a pleasant atmosphere of a spa holiday. It is located in central Japan, in Aichi Prefecture, near Nishio and Miyazaki, and it is a landscaped area on the Pacific coast. Kira Waikiki has all the necessary beach infrastructure: showers and toilets, lounges and dressing rooms, rescue service, beach equipment and jet ski rental. The coastal zone on Kira Waikiki is sandy, the coastal strip is shallow and clean. All this makes the beach convenient for swimming with children, sunbathing, practicing water sports, creating beautiful photos of the sunrise. The beach is surrounded by palm trees, giving it a tropical look. Every year, at the end of August, the Kira Waikiki Beach hosts the Hawaiian Festival, which attracts Polynesian dance lovers from all over Japan. You can get to the beach from Meitetsu Kira-Yoshida Station by shuttle bus, car or taxi.
Kira Waikiki Beach vacation is a great opportunity to visit nearby attractions, such as Nishio City Ikoi no Noen and Kodomo-no-Kuni parks, Konrenji Temple Midado.
When is the best time to go?
If in the north of Japan, in Hokkaido, the weather in January-February is quite wintery, in the southern islands the temperature rarely drops below 20 degrees even in the cold season. In summer, the rainy season comes in Japan, when the humidity becomes almost one hundred percent, and the thermometer is at 30 to 40 degrees. Therefore, the best time to travel to Japan – is late spring or early autumn.
