Tatadohama beach
The beach of the Izu Peninsula has the same name as the small town of Tatadohama in the famous resort of Shimoda. The coastline is surrounded by forest, and the mountains are visible in the northern part of it. Despite the sandy beach and excellent sunbathing opportunities, most vacationers stay on the beach for surfing.
