Koh Wai beach
The sandy beaches of the peaceful island of Koh Wai await fans of secluded relaxation, diving, snorkeling and fishing. A boat to bring tourists in 20 minutes from its northern neighbor - the island of Koh Chang. There is a ferry service between the mainland and Koh Wai.

Beach description
A tiny Koh Wai measuring just 3.9 square kilometers has innumerable treasures: spacious bays, colored corals, clean sand. Huge blocks of coral, growing at a depth of 8-10 meters are available for observation in all weather conditions. Graceful leopard sharks were seen in them.
If the eastern part of the island is famous for its sandy beaches and coral reefs (some of them reach a length of 2 kilometers), then the western - more rugged and hilly, with the lush greenery of the jungle, and it is home to many species of birds.
Ko-Wai is not burdened with permanent settlements, but is ready to shelter guests in simple hotel bungalows. It can be crowded in high season. Therefore, a room in one of the 5 hotels should be rented in advance. A full-fledged vacation on a deserted island, however, is available only to someone who is able to live a couple of days without ATMs and shops, being content with an electric generator and dirt roads. But magical sunsets and delicious dinners with fresh seafood are provided.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
