Laoya beach
The islands of Laoya and Laoya Klang are not far from Salakphet Bay, south of Koh Chang Island. Connected by a wooden 50-meter bridge, they became the home of one resort. Here you can spend the night in an air-conditioned bungalow-style room and dine in the atmospheric restaurant overlooking the sea and neighboring islands.

Beach description
There are several small beaches on the east coast of Laoya Klang. A hiking trail that borders the island can be reached in 5 minutes. The main resort area is located on the eastern side of the large island of Laoya. Mainly Thai groups of tourists rest here on weekends and holidays. Resort is usually empty the rest of the time. Of the western guests, most often Russian travelers come here by boat and sightseeing boats.
The highlight of Laoya Island is its stunningly beautiful beach with white sand, sparkling clear sea water, palm trees on the shore and underwater coral gardens. This is one of the best beaches in the area. It stretched from the pier in the northeast of the island to its southeastern end. Do not miss a chance to visit Laoya, if you have it. You will have a great time swimming in the clear water, exploring coral placers or just dreaming in a hammock with a book in your hands.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
